THE PRACTICE:

This role will align with our Manufacturing & Operations practice and fall under the Production & Operations capability.

M anufacturing & Operations professionals help our clients achieve their ambitions for digital transformation within their core manufacturing and operations throughout the full lifecycle of their assets. With domain expertise across consulting and technology they unlock new sources of opex and capex efficiency and effectiveness.

Production & Operations  Systems Engineer s enable Manufacturing Modernization with deep specialization in Execution systems (MES/ MOM), Automation, and Plant data models.

The Work:

+ Collaborate with clients to understand their OT Network, Security and Server system requirements, objectives, and challenges.

+ Assess existing OT systems, telecom infrastructure, networks, and server environments to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

+ Conduct assessments at client sites and produce recommendations for network, server and security infrastructure remediation.

+ Develop comprehensive solutions and recommendations for integrating OT systems with telecom networks and servers, ensuring compatibility, scalability, and security.

+ Design, configure, and implement OT system solutions, including network architecture, server configurations, and integration protocols.

+ Provide technical expertise and guidance during the installation, configuration, and testing phases of OT system deployments.

+ Conduct thorough testing, validation, and documentation of OT system implementations to ensure performance, functionality, and security standards are met.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including automation professionals, IT professionals, network engineers, and cybersecurity experts, to integrate OT systems effectively within client environments.

+ Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to OT systems, telecom, networks, and servers.

+ Offer ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services for deployed OT systems, promptly addressing any issues or concerns.

+ Deliver training sessions and knowledge transfer to client personnel on OT system operations, maintenance, and security protocols.

+ Provide technical guidance to proposals (RFP’s) and develop scope of work/estimates as required.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business needs and client requirements.

Here’s what you need:

+ Minimum 5 years working with operational technology (OT) systems, particularly in telecom, network, and server environments.

+ Minimum 5 years experience designing, configuring, and implementing OT system solutions.

+ Minimum 3 years experience conducting testing, validation, and documentation of OT system implementations.

Bonus points if you have:

+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Candidates with a Technical Diploma will also be considered.

+ Experience working in any of the following industries: Oil & Gas, Utilities, Water/Wastewater, Mining, Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, Pharma/Life Sciences.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.

+ In-depth knowledge of telecom infrastructure, networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, SNMP), and server technologies (e.g., Linux, Windows Server).

+ Certifications such as: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP), CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), CCNP, or relevant vendor-specific certifications are a definite plus.

+ Maintain technical accuracy and soundness of engineering and/or technical practices based on design criteria, specifications, and standards as related to the project requirements. Among others, this includes standards at minimum such as: CSA Z246.1 NIST SP800-82 ISA99/IEC62443, ISA 84 NERC CIP

+ Expert time management skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize to deliver value on multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
