THE PRACTICE:
This role will align with our Manufacturing & Operations practice and fall under the Production & Operations capability.
M anufacturing & Operations professionals help our clients achieve their ambitions for digital transformation within their core manufacturing and operations throughout the full lifecycle of their assets. With domain expertise across consulting and technology they unlock new sources of opex and capex efficiency and effectiveness.
Production & Operations Systems Engineer s enable Manufacturing Modernization with deep specialization in Execution systems (MES/ MOM), Automation, and Plant data models.
The Work:
+ Design and configuration of PLC, SCADA, HMI & DCS systems through internal mentorship and project execution methodologies.
+ Manage time, budget and schedule for your responsibilities.
+ Participate in control philosophy, P&ID, C&E, HAZOP and other design reviews.
+ Provide high-quality written documentation and engineering work packages.
+ Perform ongoing maintenance and support on previous projects.
+ Commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting remotely and on-site.
+ Maintain 100% customer satisfaction.
+ Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business needs and client requirements.
Here’s what you need:
+ Minimum of 2 years experience working in the Automation, SCADA, or OT systems domain.
+ Minimum 1 year experience with software computer proficiencies: MS Office, SQL, VBScript, Python C# an asset.
Bonus points if you have:
+ Engineering Degree or Associates Degree in Technology in a related field.
+ Experience working in any of the following industries: Oil & Gas, Utilities, Water/Wastewater, Mining, Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, Pharma/Life Sciences.
+ PLC Experience with some of the following: Rockwell, Schneider / Modicon, GE RX3i, Siemens.
+ DCS Experience with DeltaV, Honeywell or ABB 800Xa an asset.
+ SCADA/HMI Experience with Ignition, AVEVA System Platform (Archestra), Cygnet, FactoryTalk, IFix or others
+ Database experience with Snowflake, SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres and others an asset
+ Analytics and visualization experience such as Power Bi, Tableau and others an asset
+ Communication Experience with one of the following: Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus or others
+ Experience in Oil / Gas, Manufacturing, Mining, Forestry, Wastewater, Water, Food and Beverage an asset.
+ Superb communication written and spoken.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
