Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking for a **Project Manager or Principal Project Manager** to join the Product Support team. This position will be based in **El Segundo, CA.**

****There is no relocation available for this position at this time. ****

This position can be filled at a Level 02 or Level 03 based on the requirements below.

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of F35 Support Equipment (SE) Programs, serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Liaise with other managers / functions to formulate objectives to carry out program requirements with Management oversight

+ Familiarity with EVMS techniques

+ Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines

+ Monitor SE and spares requirements to resolve issues

+ Prepare charts and participate in Program PMRs, EPMRs, PMMs and PRRs

+ Identify Risks and Opportunities and develop mitigation plans

**Basic Qualifications for Project Manager:**

+ Bachelors Degree w/ 3 years’ experience OR Masters Degree w/ 1 year experience.

+ Knowledgeable in the use of SAP in a Post-Production Environment

+ Knowledgeable in reading and understanding engineering drawings and requirements

+ Experience in communicating program requirements to suppliers

+ Show proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project...etc.)

+ Must have the ability to obtain and a maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

**Basic Qualifications for Principal Project Manager:**

+ Bachelors Degree w/ 6 years’ experience OR Masters Degree w/ 4 years' experience.

+ Knowledgeable in the use of SAP in a Post-Production Environment.

+ Knowledgeable in reading and understanding engineering drawings and requirements.

+ Experience in communicating program requirements to suppliers.

+ Show proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project...etc.)

+ Must have the ability to obtain and a maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Bachelors or Masters in Project Management, Logistics Management, or Engineering.

+ PMP Certification.

+ Active Secret Clearance.

**Salary Range:** $72,100 - $108,100

**Salary Range 2:** $88,700 - $133,100

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
