GPU compiler engineer

**Job Description**

The Graphic processor is ubiquitous (either integrated or discrete). Efficiently harvesting GPU computation power for 3D and compute APIs is an interesting and challenging task. Our compiler team is composed of talented programming language and compiler experts.

We are seeking a compiler candidate who will be working on intel graphics compiler project that involves DX shader, Open GL, OpenCL, Triton and SYCL.

The job responsibilities consist of:

+ Intermediate representation interface: Design and integrate the IR interface between FE components and intel graphics compiler.

+ Optimizer: design and develop optimization algorithms

+ Generated code analysis: Analyze compiler generated code, identify inefficiency and propose compiler optimizations or HW enhancements to address performance issues.

+ Architecture research: Work with HW architects on collecting data and evaluating for advanced features for future Intel Graphics processors.

**Qualifications**

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ MS degree in CS, ECE or related field

+ 4+ experience in compiler development including the experience below:

+ Compiler infrastructure (e.g., LLVM)

+ Compiler optimizations and code generation

+ Compiler architecture

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 2+ years of experience Machine learning, and deep learning.

+ PhD is preferred.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $186,552.00-$279,772.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

**Working Model**

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
