The Choice Privileges Risk team is the team that oversees audit, fraud, and risk work in support of the Choice Privileges loyalty program, allowing guests to earn benefits for their hotel stays and with our program partners, including the cobrand credit card. Your Responsibilities
+ Perform regular risk assessments and work with stakeholders to identify and document fraud risks. Assess the impact of risks and recommend solutions to mitigate risks.
+ Create and maintain quarterly risk reporting that highlights risk for the loyalty program to be shared with the Enterprise Risk committee.
+ Be the primary liaison between internal and external audit teams and the business to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of audit documentation to the audit teams.
+ Assist with the development of new controls and enhancements to existing controls by working with internal and external audit teams, as well as internal business partners.
+ Collaborate with control owners to create and maintain process documentation for each control.
+ Review and investigate suspicious or fraudulent activity in the Loyalty program. Identify trends and patterns of suspicious/fraudulent activity and communicate them to the team and management.
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
+ Master’s degree in a related field is preferred
+ At least 2 years’ experience in risk management or audit.
+ Knowledge of risk management frameworks and SOX is desirable.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
+ Demonstrates key competencies to include being action oriented, having strong analytical skills to help inform decisions and drive innovation, and being able to collaborate with individuals in different areas of the organization.
Your Team
This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Manager of Loyalty Audit & Fraud. You will have 1 peer teammate and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.
Your Work Location
As our Risk Analyst, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide corporate headquarters in North Bethesda, MD. Less than 15 miles from Washington, DC, we’re located one block away from the North Bethesda Metro station, with service on the Red Line and the MARC Brunswick line, easy access to I-270, and plenty of free parking provided by Choice Hotels.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $66,000 to $72,000 annually.
The pay range listed is for this position and is what Choice Hotels reasonably expects to pay. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
