**Job Description:**
Provides ongoing support and coordination; being a liaison between the Medical Staff, Medical Directors, and Administration. The position directs the on-going credentialing / privileging process and other administrative functions for the Medical Staff, Medical Director, Administration, and Allied Health Professionals.
**Remote, Monday-Friday with typical business hours.**
Scope
As a Medical Staff Privileging Coordinator you need to know how to:
Provide functional leadership and direction for the Medical Staff Credentialing Program.
Direct, coordinate, and monitor all credentialing processes, reporting, and communication.
Act as an internal credentialing consultant for all levels of the organization.
Participate in the human resources processing, including interviewing and selection of new associates and the performance review process.
Make process improvement recommendations to enhance departmental productivity and quality.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines and requirements, state and federal statutes and Bylaws and Rules.

Minimum Qualifications
+ Graduation from high school or equivalent required.
+ Bachelors degree in business or healthcare related field, preferred.
+ Demonstrated experience and competence in the application of Medical Staff credentialing program principles required.
+ Ability to interpret and comply with regulatory requirements related to Joint Commission standards, hospital licensing regulations, and requirements, state and federal statutes, and Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and regulations, etc. required.
+ Computer proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office and Internet required.
+ Experience with credentialing software preferred.
+ CPCS Certification(s) preferred.

Hearing/listening, lifting, manual dexterity, pulling/pushing, seeing, sitting, speaking, squatting/kneeling, standing, and walking.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$21.20 - $32.26
