Managed Services is a critical component of the EY Vision 2020+ strategy and a new area of growth for the firm. In order to meet this strategic objective, we are undertaking a change in our operating model to enable our Areas (Americas, EMEIA, APAC) to have the right team in place for Managed Services pursuits.

We are looking for a Transition Lead to join our Managed Services team. As a Transition Lead, you will play an integral part in establishing and embedding effective and efficient transition plans for new Managed Services engagements, supporting the transition of services to the account and delivery teams.

You will report to the Area MS Transition Lead and will work closely with other significant global stakeholders and global delivery and enablement teams.

**Your Key Responsibilities**

+ Ensure successful setup and transition of all aspects of the engagement as delivery teams mobilize for ongoing service delivery

+ In coordination with the client facing team, be the focal point for the setup of the engagement before transitioning to the delivery team

+ Create and maintain open and trusting relationships with the client and EY leadership

+ Organize the transition team and define roles and responsibilities for each team during the transition phase.

+ Work within the deal cycle with transition solution designs and contract definitions.

+ Design, launch and run transition and programme structures

+ Manage transition and go-live readiness across all teams

+ Advise and guide all workstreams to ensure successful operational launches and transitions

+ Develop and manage program budgets

+ Create and support efficient and effective ways of working with the delivery team

+ Define the approach to transition planning and execution

+ Define, establish and utilize an efficient and effective knowledge capture process

+ Define acceptance criteria, sign off and formal handover criteria into delivery teams, working with delivery

+ Identify, understand and manage risks and issues related to the effective and efficient transition of services

+ Ensure successful completion and closure of contractual obligations

+ Design and run transformation programs post service go-live

+ Build and continuously enhance managed services capabilities, methodologies and tools

+ Co-ordinate the transition community to ensure new tools, approaches and lessons are shared amongst MS engagements

+ Ensure complete and accurate reporting with appropriate levels of escalation to enable effective decision making

**Skills and attributes for success**

+ Extensive experience in transition management of complex deals and Managed Services

+ Extensive programme and project management experience, including management of global, distributed teams in a complex matrix organization

+ Extensive experience in change management, process design, knowledge transfer design, operating model design and implementations

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills for client C-Suite and EY senior stakeholders

+ Strong business partnering skills enabling working across teams.

+ Ability to produce work of consistently high-quality under pressure (time & outcomes)

+ Ability/credibility to influence key EY and client stakeholders - personal style, experience and approach

+ A high level of drive, ability to work independently and deal effectively with ambiguity and change

+ Obsessed with client satisfaction

+ Have exposure to transformation initiatives involving tech/ERP deployment

**To qualify for the role, you must have**

+ 15+ years of experience in consulting, management, as well as Managed Services

+ 15+ years of experience in designing and developing integrated, complex transition programs for Managed Services solutions

+ Demonstrated experience in Managed Services life cycle and transitioning complex Managed Services solutions

+ Experience in a complex managed services environment is an advantage

+ Client facing experience in terms of collaboration and presentation skills at C-level both internally and externally

+ Proficiency in Design Thinking and Agile Methodology

+ Ability to lead and motivate teams and work in agile environment

+ Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required – Business, Computer Science, Engineering

+ MBA and/or Master’s Degree in Business, IT or related field preferred

+ Up to 50% travel required, depending on pursuit phase

**Ideally, you’ll also have**

+ Programme & project management qualifications (PMP / PRINCE2 )

+ Service management qualifications (ITIL)

+ Process design accreditation

+ Some experience working in Big 4/professional service organisations

**What we offer**

The compensation ranges below are provided in order to comply with United States pay transparency laws. Other geographies will follow their local salary guidelines, which may not be a direct conversion of published US salary range/s.

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $146,000 to $333,500. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $175,200 to $379,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
