Accountant II

**Job Description**

BAE Systems is seeking an Accountant II to join its organization. This position will be part of our General Accounting department working closely with many other functions throughout the business. This is a mid-level accounting position responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including financial statement preparation, account reconciliation, journal entry posting, analysis of financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail oriented and can work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

+ Preparation of journal entries

+ Account reconciliations

+ Financial analysis

+ Month-end and year-end closing

+ Financial reporting

+ Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations

+ Maintaining and monitoring internal controls

+ Collaboration with other departments

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**

+ Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or related field

+ 2 years of accounting experience

+ Strong organizational skills

+ Microsoft Excel & Word

**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**

+ Oracle E-Business Suite

+ Blackline software

**Pay Information**

Full-Time Salary Range: $58300 - $99100

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
