Ensure an uninterrupted supply of materials to support production and sales. Work to resolve Materials issues while achieving and maintaining inventory business metrics.
**Key Responsibilities Include:**
•Overall ownership of material ordering, availability, and scheduling; targeting inventory levels per the Standard Ordering Procedure. May include Vendor Management data analysis and inputs based on business need
•Rescheduling materials for pull ins (expedites) and push outs (for inventory control)
•Daily Shortage Management – data input/updates
•Input Airway bills upon shipments to vendors
•Conduct daily walks on the warehouse floor and the receiving dock to investigate and resolve material issues/problem shelves
•Assist in cycle count audits as needed
•Support all lean activities, initiatives, and action workouts
•Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
•Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and support corrective actions
•Position may evolve to include other duties as required as the business needs change
**Required Qualifications:**
• High School diploma and 1 - 2 years of buyer, supply chain, materials, production scheduling, or related business experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
**Preferred Qualifications:**
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field
• Proficient in MS Excel
• SAP (or equivalent system) knowledge and experience
• Six Sigma Green Belt
• Working knowledge of MRP
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
