**Cashier**

_We’re looking for qualified_ **_Cashier_** _like you to join our Texas Health family._

**Work Location:** Texas Health Arlington, 800 W. Randol Mill Road, Arlington, TX 76012

**Work Hours:** PRN - Rotating Schedule. 6:30 am to 3:00 pm or 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm (open 7 days a week). Alternating weekends and holidays

**Here’s What You Need:**

**Education**

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent preferred

**Experience**

1 Year relevant experience in customer service or as a cashier in a high volume setting **REQUIRED**

**Licenses and Certifications**

FHC - Food Handlers Certificate 30 Days **REQUIRED**

**Skills**

Ability to handle cash in a high volume environment. Reading, basic math, written language in English. Ability to handle cash in a high volume environment. Computer skills preferred. Good communication and organizational skills to exercise independent judgment. Must be discreet and courteous in handling visitors and employees.

**What You Will Do:**

· Familiar with menu and prices. Operate computer based register during meal service periods. Responsible for accurate charges to each customer.

· Demonstrate the ability to handle and count money in a high volume situation. Verify cash drawer amounts before and after meal periods.

· Demonstrates customer skills and performs customer recovery, resolving customer issues at point of service.

· Follow established standards for food safety and sanitation. Follows standards for cleanliness and stocking within the assigned area. Follows proper hand hygiene.

· Performs other job duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
