**Responsibilities**
**Position Summary:**
As our Manager of Lab for Arroyo Grande Community Hospital you will oversee the day-to-day clinical laboratory operations to ensure proper functioning of the laboratory and the quality of laboratory services. You will strive to be a servant leader and to empower your staff, developing laboratory personnel training, providing mentorship, instruction and supervision. You will need to be a visible leader, with your finger always on the pulse of the department, so you can ensure our hospital and staff are in compliance with all laboratory guidelines and policies. At the heart of each test is our patients, and you'll have a direct impact on ensuring they are treated with compassion and are provided safe and quality services.
**Qualifications**
**Education and Experience:**
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
+ Minimum of five (5) years of progressive Laboratory Services experience in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science, of which two (2) of those years with an emphasis on management of a Medical Laboratory.
**Licensure:**
+ American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), or National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCA) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or equivalent required. Additional state licensure as needed is required

$54.12 - $78.47 /hour
