Production & Operations Systems Engineer s enable Manufacturing Modernization with deep specialization in Execution systems (MES/ MOM), Automation, and Plant data models.
YOU ARE:
A forward-thinking Digital Manufacturing Specialist to lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions that transform shop floor operations and elevate manufacturing IT systems. In this role, you will contribute to the development and deployment of scalable, high-performance architectures that integrate seamlessly across cloud, edge, and on-premises environments. Your ability to combine advanced technology with practical application will help drive operational excellence and support digital transformation in manufacturing environments.
THE WORK:
+ Produce attractive, cost-effective solutions that will improve the way our clients run manufacturing operations
+ Plan, design, and build complex digital roadmaps
+ Combine an understanding of the business and tech side of industrial software to deliver client value
+ Act as a Digital Manufacturing translator bridging business requirements and Digital Manufacturing technology enablers
+ Create business cases for technological and organizational transformation
+ Develop architectures, estimates, staffing, and implementation plans, evaluating the pros and cons of different approaches
+ Lead small teams to be responsive and efficient
+ Full lifecycle experience in developing and implementing solution in real world environment
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
+ Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
+ A minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing systems environment, with hands-on experience architecting and implementing Industry 4.0 solutions
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
+ At least 3 years of experience working with cloud and edge architectures, including platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
+ 5 years in one or more of the following industries: Automotive, Logistics and Transportation, Manufacturing and Industrial Automation, Aerospace and Defense, Energy (including Oil & Gas), Pharmaceutical/Medical, High Tech, Media, Electronics, Internet, or Semiconductor.
+ Proven expertise in PLM, MES/MOM, PLC, SCADA, IoT platforms, and Manufacturing IT Systems Integrations
+ Hands-on experience with loosely coupled, microservices-based platform architectures, containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
+ Strong knowledge of big data technologies, AI/ML frameworks, and cybersecurity best practices (including Operational Technology (OT) security).
+ Experience in designing architectures tailored to manufacturing use cases.
+ Relevant cloud and edge architecture certifications, such as AWS Certified Solution Architect or Azure Solution Architect Expert.
+ Comprehensive understanding of edge and cloud capabilities
+ Bachelors Degree in Engineering
+ Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with board-level executives.
+ A proactive, dynamic approach to client engagement, with a willingness to travel frequently for meetings and workshops with clients and partners.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
