**THE JOB:**
It is the Slot Technician Shift Manager ‘s job to oversee the overall operation of Slot Technical Department in accordance with the departmental and property practices, policies, and procedures.
**THE DAY-TO-DAY:**
+ Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Slot Technical Department
+ Continuously evaluate staffing levels in accordance with business demand, forecasts, and budgetary guidelines; ensuring necessary adjustments are made as needed
+ Responsible for the overall maintenance and performance of slot equipment
+ Remain up to date on all advances in technology, associates with vendors, servicemen
+ Maintain records of all machines on the casino floor, including par sheets, excess fills, machine moves
+ Schedules and participates in all aspects of machine moves and/or conversions
+ Respond to special requests, by the Director Slot Operations
+ Orders and maintains inventory parts
+ Acts as liaison between vendors and other MGM properties
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
+ Two (2) years of prior experience in a related field
+ Effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms
+ Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:**
+ At least three (3) years of experience in Slot Maintenance
+ Previous experience installing a new Slot Floor
+ Bilingual, English as the primary or secondary language
+ Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
+ Extensive Knowledge in all aspects of gaming device technology
+ Proficient in using a computer, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
+ Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
+ Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both oral and written forms
**SCHEDULE:**
+ Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
+ Off: 2 consecutive days
**_Must be flexible to work outside primary schedule based on the business needs_**
