In the Specialized Systems Project Team our mission is to deliver system projects by modernizing system platforms and innovating the customer and partner experience.
**Description**
This project manager will lead and implement tasks, projects and ad hoc requests with key partners, while providing Regional and Global management with accurate assessments of project and process approaches, issues, and risks. A successful Specialized Systems project manager will be able to look beyond the current process and refine, define, iterate, and implement systems and processes that align with the organization’s strategic goals, while addressing potential future business needs. The responsibilities of the project manager include, but are not limited to: -Ensure that new programs and system projects are completed within project timelines and appropriately developed to effectively meet LOB requirements -Demonstrate a high level of understanding of the project lifecycle (globally) and effectively communicate project status and requirements -Anticipate potential problems and work proactively to provide and implement solutions to a wide range of global, cross-functional issues -Demonstrate a leadership role in complex, multi- phased projects while maintaining relationship with all projects teams to become a trusted advisor to partners -Negotiate and set expectations with regional team members and management -Support key business objectives and develop innovative solutions, systems, and products to support AppleCare objectives -Communicate project statuses to Global Specialty organization, and ensure project managers have mitigation plans in place to minimize risk
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ 3+ years of systems and/or project management experience
+ 5+ years of experience working within Business and Partner Support Organization(s), including Apple Business Support, iOPs (Customer Advocacy or Carpe Facto), AppleCare Partner Relations, Customer Relations, Channel Services Support, Advisor and Platforms Support, WW Support Services, Operation Support Strategy, Apple Product Verification and iOS activations, or SSL
+ BS/BA and/or relevant experience

+ Experience with projects from scoping and design, to planning and implementation
+ Ability coordinate efforts with other regions, often requiring additional hours and late/early
+ phone calls
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Effective presentation skills, especially at the executive level
+ Experience working with tools that impact processes and data
+ Ability to work cross functionally and lead key projects with limited information or oversight • Experience working with both IT and Sales stakeholders
+ Experience with continuous system/process improvement
+ Previously rotational experience with SSPro strongly preferred
+ PMI/PMP certification or other project certifications a plus (I.e Agile, Six Sigma, etc)
