We are seeking a **Laboratory Associate** to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business at **Austin, TX** **.**

**Job** **Summary:**

The Laboratory Associate will perform routine packaging, filling procedures, and laboratory tasks with precision and efficiency, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

**What** **you’ll** **be** **doing:**

+ Complete and prepare documentation in compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines.

+ Perform and document packaging and filling procedures accurately and consistently in line with SOPs.

+ Assess procedures to ensure they meet expectations and tolerances, escalating abnormal results to senior lab personnel.

+ Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment, and assist in procedural development and review.

+ Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance data quality, reduce costs, and shorten turnaround times.

+ Notify inventory staff of supply shortages and contribute to biological sample collection and processing.

+ Solve challenges related to specimen collection and processing, and complete assigned special projects.

+ Participate in continuing education, off-site lectures, and after-hours temperature monitoring on a volunteer basis.

**What** **We** **Are** **Looking** **For:**

+ Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in a science discipline with 0–1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory operating under GLP and/or CLIA guidelines ( _required_ ).

+ Proficiency in pipetting and molecular biology techniques, along with laboratory calculations such as dilutions and weights.

+ Working knowledge of GLP, CLIA standards, laboratory safety, and infection control procedures.

+ _Other_ _Equivalent_ _combination_ _of_ _education,_ _training,_ _and_ _experience_ _may_ _be_ _accepted_ _in_ _lieu_ _of_ _a_ _degree._

**The** **Knowledge,** **Skills,** **and** **Abilities** **needed** **for** **this** **role:**

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, and close eye work requirements (e.g., typing, computer use, reading small prints). Occasional exposure to cold temperatures may be required.

+ Strong attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and the ability to maintain effective working relationships.

+ Phlebotomy and liquid handling experience preferred.

+ Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills in laboratory operations.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $41,100.00 - $68,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
