Our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team builds and operates cloud-delivered security solutions that are highly available, scalable, and reliable. Your Impact
As a Tech Leader in Cloud Engineering, you’ll be a key driver in building the next generation of Cisco’s cloud security infrastructure. You’ll own production systems end-to-end and work cross-functionally with support teams, developers, and partners to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable services. You’ll help evolve our observability, automation, and incident response practices while fostering a culture of reliability and operational excellence.
* Design and develop scalable, reliable infrastructure and platforms that power cloud-delivered security services
* Own production environments and processes—monitoring, incident response, automation, and continuous improvement
* Participate in and help lead a 24/7 on-call rotation, ensuring production systems are always available
* Collaborate closely with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the full stack
* Ensure compliance with security controls while driving self-healing, automated, and observable systems
* Champion engineering best practices, documentation, and knowledge sharing across the team
Minimum Qualifications
* 8+ years of experience managing large-scale public or private cloud infrastructure
* 5+ years of experience programming in Golang or Python
* 3+ years of operational experience in cloud automation and CI/CD practices
Preferred Qualifications
* 3+ years of Linux system administration experience
* Expertise with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
* Strong incident response and release management background
* Experience working directly with support teams and external customers
* Collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong desire to automate and improve everything
