Position Summary:
The Cook works under general supervision and prepares, seasons, and cooks food for Hospital patients, employees, and visitors. Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipes, using a variety of manual and/or electric kitchen utensils and equipment,
Education:
Work requires a level of math and English normally acquired through the completion of an eighth grade education.
Work Experience:
Work requires one to two years cooking experience in any large food service operation.
Knowledge/Skills:
Work requires knowledge of basic cooking techniques and the ability to operate kitchen equipment and machinery.
Work requires the ability to read and follow instructions. Requires the ability to operate standard kitchen machinery, read menus, work schedules and prices. Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with hospital patients, visitors and staff and to provide courteous services.

Salary Range: Minimum 17.28 per hour - Maximum 20.06 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
