The Johns Hopkins Hospital- The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is a 28-bed unit that provides comprehensive medical and surgical intensive care for children from birth to 21 years old. The PICU is Maryland’s only Level 1 pediatric trauma center and state-designated pediatric burn ICU for children up to 15 years of age. Medical diagnoses include respiratory failure, metabolic disorders, seizure disorders, multiorgan failure, shock, toxic ingestions, and neonatal and pediatric ECMO. Shifts: 12-hour night shift ; weekend work required

Who Should Apply:

  • Associated degree in nursing required
  • Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
  • BLS CPR certification required
  • RN work experience required
