We are seeking a responsible and compassionate RN with top-notch clinical skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to thrive in a mulit-disiplinary environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assisting in the OR during operative procedures in accordance with AORN Standards and department policies and procedures
+ Arranging and inventorying sterile set-up; passing sterile items to the surgeon, assisting in the preparation and movement of patients, and in the clean-up of the operating room
+ Delivery of quality surgical nursing care to the adult, adolescent, pediatric, and geriatric surgical patient utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation)
+ Providing surgical nursing support for a variety major and minor surgical cases
+ Delivery of quality surgical nursing care to the adult, adolescent, pediatric, and geriatric surgical patient utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation)
+ Comprehensive care of the surgical patient during the pre-op, intra-op and immediate post-operative course for the patient
+ Supervising, directing and coordinating the activities of surgical nursing team members in the absence of the Surgery Supervisor
+ Delegating care based on the abilities and limitations of care personnel and patient acuity
+ Providing surgical nursing support for a variety major and minor surgical cases
+ Delivering care through the use of the nursing process.
**Qualifications**
+ Current Registered Nurse (RN) License by the Minnesota State Board of Nursing
+ BLS, ACLS & PALS will be acquired and maintained
+ Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communciation skills; interacts effectively with providers, patients, visitors and staff
+ Well organized
+ Demonstrates critical thinking and decision making skills
+ Anticipates and recognizes need for immediate emergency patient interventions
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Three years recent acute care work experience
**Pay Range**
$30.47 - $44.19 /hour
