Sr. Director, Fulfillment Solutions

**Overview**

Sr. Director Fulfillment Solutions will build and drive customer solutions through Distribution/Fulfillment Design and Engineering to ensure business plan targets for revenues, profit margins and service are achieved. This position will lead a team of solutions engineer and will require expertise in warehouse operations, 3PL operations, logistics, and supply chain to deliver tailored solutions that meet our clients' unique requirements.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

+ Lead the solutioning, and network optimization for our customers, while driving strategic operational execution in location and facility design for Veyer’s distribution network, while partnering with warehousing, transportation, inventory management, finance, etc. for optimal P& L performance.

+ Establish and communicate a clear mission for the team to provide highest level of delivery service and lead DC/FC engineering and OMS/WMS tech roadmap development/optimization to increase the effectiveness of all aspects of the fulfillment processes.

+ Oversee overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Company’s delivery of fulfillment service for our customers.

+ Create and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, discipline and responsiveness.

+ Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team and across the organization.

+ Stay informed about advancements in warehousing technologies, automation, and industry best practices.

**Education and Experience:**

+ Level of Formal Education:

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

+ Area of Study:

+ Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; MBA degree with an emphasis in Supply Chain /Operations, Engineering, Marketing or Finance as well as Six Sigma / Lean certification, strongly preferred

+ Type of Experience:

+ 10+ years domestic /international supply chain / operations engineer/technology experience

+ Extensive strategic leadership and oversight of supply chain optimization / network design and transportation/logistics functions in a fast-paced, growth-oriented global supply chain business

+ Technical Competencies & Information Systems:

+ Experience with supply chain technologies and systems, such as ERP, Oracle, WMS, TMS, and data analytics platforms.

+ Skills & Abilities:

+ Detailed, full-cycle knowledge in key supply chain/logistics, network design, warehouse operations, and inventory management (e.g. variability, safety stock, GMROI, marginal revenue/cost, etc.) processes, current best practices and associated cost structures

+ Experienced process reengineering champion with multiple projects led that removed efficiencies and costs from the system (Six Sigma I Lean certification highly preferred)

+ Prior Sales or direct customer management, Merchandising and Marketing experience in product, placement, price and promotion, strongly preferred.

+ Language Skills:

+ Well-spoken and possessing exemplary writing skills

+ Personal Attributes & Other/Preferred:

+ Solid business acumen; Strong quantitative, project management, financial & P&L management skills required to succeed; Prior Accounting / Finance experience required

+ Ability to collaborate across the organization and build trusted relationships quickly in order to engage others to ensure the most effective and efficient solutions for the varied business units

+ Strong presentation skills — for a Boardroom or a Transportation / Supply Chain Development Team.

**Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule:** The salary range for this role is $151,500/year to $257,150/year, however all state and local minimum wages will be complied with, resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range displayed.
