**This position will work 3rd shift: 11pm-7:30am, Sunday - Thursday.**
The Work Order Clerk is a vital component of our manufacturing team, responsible for supporting plant production and maintaining quality standards. This position requires active participation in safety meetings and strict adherence to safety protocols. The Work Order Clerk will be instrumental in conducting HACCP training, managing batch records, and leading the Friends-Helping-Friends program. This role necessitates collaboration on Key Safety Reports (KSRs) and continuous process improvements, along with reviewing production reports and providing essential clerical support. The Work Order Clerk ensures the seamless execution of the manufacturing cycle, promoting efficiency and accuracy in all operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support Plant Operations: Actively contribute to plant production and quality initiatives, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards.
• Safety Engagement: Attend and participate in safety meetings, fostering a culture of safety and compliance within the manufacturing environment. Participate in Friends-Helping-Friends Program to foster a culture of safety and teamwork in the workplace. • HACCP Training: Conduct and facilitate HACCP training sessions for staff, ensuring all team members are knowledgeable about food safety practices.
• Batch Record Management: Oversee and maintain accurate batch records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Collaboration on KSRs: Work closely with team members to develop and review Key Safety Reports (KSRs), identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
• Process Improvements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance productivity and quality.
• Production Report Review: Regularly review and analyze production reports to monitor performance metrics and identify trends.
• Clerical Support: Provide clerical and administrative support as required, ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing process.
• Efficiency and Accuracy: Uphold a commitment to efficiency and accuracy throughout the manufacturing process, contributing to the overall success of the plant.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Must be tech-savvy, with ability to learn new devices and systems.
• Team Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and departments, fostering a positive working environment.
• Knowledge of HACCP, with ability to train others is strongly preferred. • Proficient Record Management: Proficiency in managing batch records and production reports, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Administrative Skills: Excellent clerical and administrative skills, including proficiency in relevant software applications and data entry.
