Director Brand Marketing - Medical Nutrition

**SUMMARY:**

This position leads all aspects of the US Medical Nutrition (MN) Marketing function, including the building of brand plans for all MN brands. This position is also responsible for embedding and leading the frameworks which govern marketing across all products in Medical Nutrition. Mentors and develops the marketing team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning. Manages relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure alignment and support for marketing initiatives. Contributes to the overall strategic vision and long-term goals of the company, ensuring that marketing strategies align with and support the company's mission and objectives.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Lead the development and execution of MN marketing vision and strategy including target patient identification, brand positioning, and brand character development.

+ Drive innovation and renovate current marketing strategies to boost brand performance

+ Work with US collaborative partners to embed the brand Plan, and through your team, partner on local execution.

+ Establish effective frameworks, metrics, and strategies for brand building and channel marketing.

+ Provide thought leadership by staying current with evolving online media and technology as well as competitive activity and trends.

+ Manage and leverage the creative capabilities of external agencies to build brands and channel strategies. This includes the full range of marketing mix (traditional, digital) and customers (consumers, retailers, HCPs).

+ Manage the marketing budget.

+ Ensure that the team establishes clear performance tracking and diagnosis system and rapidly develop action plans for course correction.

+ Identify new capabilities that enable competitive advantage and enhance leadership and product usage for appropriate customers across all Marketing Brands and Customers.

**REQUIREMENTS** :

+ 10-15+ years' experience in commercial roles of increasing responsibility and ideally 7+ years' experience in the marketing of specialty products.

+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, MBA preferred, but not essential.

+ Launch experience in US and outside US geographies.

+ Ability to travel approximately 30%.

+ Ability to build and manage teams to develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies.

+ Proven experience with marketing of HCP-endorsed medical nutrition

+ Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically, with proven track record of driving tactical execution within department, internal cross-functional teams, and external partners.

+ Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving, strategic analysis, and planning capabilities, involving complex situations.

+ Highly developed oral and written communication skills and organizational experience.

**PREFERRED SKILLS**

+ Ability to successfully work cross-functionally to build relationships that drive results.

+ Proven leadership experience including building, mentoring, and retaining a high-performing team.

+ Strong ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment with competing priorities.

+ Successful experience achieving and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulatory, legal, and operational rules.

+ Proven ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders including KOLs and patient advocacy groups.

+ Strategic and creative thinking, entrepreneurial spirit, and innovative leadership in developing marketing strategies and communications programs that engage a variety of diverse stakeholders.

+ Strong knowledge of current digital marketing landscape.
