**Job Description:**
This position is responsible for providing management and oversight of Employee Health Nursing staff and programs in multiple facilities. Oversees the Employee Health function, including implementing and maintaining programs that encourage injury prevention and provide care and coordination of treatment for caregivers. Collaborates with leadership to develop and implement Employee Health policies, procedures, programs, and services that promote the health/safety of caregivers. Promotes caregiver safety and represents Employee Health in a variety of settings.
_For this role, the leader is responsible for traveling between multiple Intermountain facilities._
**Essential Functions**
+ Leadership:
+ Contributes to strategic planning and operations, promotes high standards of care, facilitates interdepartmental collaboration, advocates for resources, and manages Employee Health staff performance, while ensuring the development of nurses and medical assistants across locations, and leading the team towards achieving department and system goals.
+ Operational Effectiveness:
+ Supports regulatory compliance experience to lead Employee Health teams across multiple facilities, with duties distributed as 50% tactical (staffing, equipment, and employee relations), 30% operational (budgeting, supply acquisition, process improvement, and evaluations), and 20% strategic (goal development and accountability), aiming to progress from ‘Competent’ to ‘Proficient’ status in the Employee Health professional competencies within 12 months.
+ Clinical Excellence
+ Responsible for department performance, compliance with regulations, caregiver safety initiatives, achieving program goals, implementing improvement plans as needed, and ensuring the delivery of quality nursing care.
+ Research
+ Utilizes current research to enhance care and develop standards for Employee Health programs, while maintaining a global perspective of the evolving Employee Health environment at various levels.

**Qualifications**
+ Minimum:
+ BSN – from an accredited institution and will be verified
+ Active RN License
+ BLS
+ Leadership/Supervisory Experience
+ 2 Years Clinical Experience
+ Preferred
+ Experience in Occupational Health or related field
+ Masters degree in nursing or related field
+ COHN certification from ABOHN
+ CIC certification from CBIC
+ Microsoft excel experience

+ Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess patient needs.
+ Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
+ Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, etc.
