Principal Supplier Integration Specialist-Hybrid

**A Day in the Life**

This role is within the Operations Scheduling group. This role will interact with many different functional areas including, Supply Network Planning, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Master Data, Purchasing & External Suppliers. This position is primarily on-site but also has flexibility to be remote on an as needed basis. In this exciting role you will support business execution of ongoing and new programs and initiatives that include creating value stream maps of the current supply chain, identify opportunities for efficiency improvement and manage projects with a cross-functional team. Activities will focus on working with dedicated categories of supply, traveling to suppliers, mapping out the processing time for material flow throughout the value stream and implementing improvements that reduce lead-time within the supply network. You will monitor key performance indicators and coordinate with cross-functional work teams to meet business objectives. Key stakeholders will include Supply Chain, Operations, Sourcing, Category Management and Operations Scheduling team members.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

+ Developing and managing project roadmaps.

+ Driving supplier lead-time reduction through detailed Value Stream mapping and positive engagement with suppliers.

+ Implementing SMI/VMI and Consignment programs with suppliers.

+ Drive SOTIF (Supplier On Time In Full) improvement programs with suppliers

+ Communication on the status of project improvements.

+ Representing the organization as a prime contact for the value stream.

+ Presenting complex information and communicating effectively.

+ Provide updates on key KPI’s

Work is performed under general direction, and you will participate in determining objectives of assignment.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Requires a Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 5 years of relevant experience.

**Nice to Have**

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, Project, etc.) or similar software.

+ Strong data analysis, data management, and quantitative skills

+ Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), team orientation, and ability to negotiate towards positive outcomes.

+ Strong organizational skills and good understanding of team dynamics.

+ Must be detail-oriented, with ability to connect the detail to higher level goals.

+ Ability to identify patterns.

+ Working knowledge of quality system requirements and good manufacturing practices.

+ Experience working in a regulated environment (i.e., medical device, pharmaceutical)

+ Understanding of contracts (supply, services, non-disclosures, etc.)

+ Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt (or comparable training). Black Belt would be preferred.

+ Manufacturing systems experience.

+ Requires practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

**Travel :** Up to 75% travel is required for the position.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$104,800.00 - $157,200.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
