**What You’ll Work On**
+ Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.
+ Monitoring and reporting metrics for all plant production areas.
+ Developing and maintaining annual plant line speed and material loss rates.
+ Actively supporting the site Business Excellence effort.
+ Observing, analyzing, and supporting operations leading to business process improvement recommendations.
+ Coaching / mentoring Green Belt teams on the proper application of Lean Six Sigma tools.
+ Facilitating the generation of project charters with internal customers.
+ Solving problems that have a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional processes, and difficult coordination requirements.
+ Providing Capital and CIP Project support for those projects which affect material loss, labor increases or reduction, and/or throughput changes.
+ Managing the employee suggestion (ACE) program.
+ •Accountable for the accuracy of plant performance metrics and labor / material standards.
+ Owns, communicates, educates and facilitates the site Continuous Improvement (CI) Projects/Objectives: - Mentor/train key stakeholders in the use and practice of continuous improvement methodologies and tools. (Lean, value stream mapping, six-sigma, Kaizen, Focused Problem Solving). - Assist in selecting, scoping, prioritizing, and executing CI projects - Estimate and verify financial benefits of CI projects - Acts as the change agent by helping employees learn, understand, adjust and grow within the continuous improvement culture
You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelors Degree (± 16 years) - Engineering
+ 3 – 5 years experience with manufacturing at the plant level.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt

The base pay for this position is $72,700.00 – $145,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
