Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a **Senior Software Engineer** in Chandler, AZ.

**Job Role and Responsibility:**

Participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments; contribute to large scale planning of strategies; design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments; review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures; resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients' needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements; collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals; design, develop, and test SOAP/RESTful Java web services in a J2EE environment; understand overall business function and technical architecture; work with other subject matter experts (SMEs), architects, analysts, and other project team members; participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including documentation, code reviews, research, and support; gather business requirements, solution design, Java development, test execution, application support, and Agile Scrum team participation. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

**Required Qualifications** :

Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related technical field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving software engineering experience.

Specific skills required:

5 years of J2EE experience;

5 years of Java experience;

3 years of RESTful or SOAP web services;

Experience with JSON, Junit, software development, SQL, and XML; and

Experience with Agile Programming practices, software architecture and design, ADA Accessibility, both SOAP and JSON messaging, IBM Message Queue, Oracle Database, JIRA, Github, Artifactory, Jenkins Build Tools, Splunk, and Adobe Designer
