**Responsibilities**

As our Surgical Tech at Chandler Regional, you are an essential part of our team. Your role in preparing the operating room for surgery and assisting in the delivery room is crucial. We rely on you to keep the delivery room clean and well-supplied with all the necessary tools and medicines. Your contribution is invaluable, and we couldn’t operate without you.

The operating room (OR) functions as a team, and each member's role is vital to the patient's care. Your success in this role is not just about adaptability and teamwork, but also about the direct impact you have on patient care. Your commitment to your duties is what makes you a valuable part of our team.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Prepare the operating room for assigned surgical procedures with proper instrumentation and sterilization

+ Navigate the nuances of surgical procedures and surgeons you’ll be supporting

+ Adapt to the needs of emergency situations

+ Provide clean-up and turnover of operating room to prepare for next patient

**Qualifications**

**Minimum**

+ HS/GED

+ Minimum of four (4) years clinical experience as a surgical technologist

+ American Heart Association BLS

+ Graduate of accredited surgical technologist program and certified as a surgical technologist plus two years clinical experience
