**Job Description:**

Ensure the safety and security of our nation as a Cyber Technical Analyst Advisor at GDIT. You’ll apply the latest technology and provide operational support to deliver actionable intelligence for the Intelligence Community. Our work depends on a Cyber Technical Analyst Advisor joining our team who has at least 8+ years of cyber expertise in the area of operations, analysis and virtual operations to support customer requirements. TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

**HOW A CYBER TECHNICAL ANALYST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:**

+ Plans, prepares, and executes tests of systems to evaluate results against specifications and requirements as well as analyze/report test results

+ Perform cyber intrusion investigations

+ Performs analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommends additional security requirements and safeguards

+ Identifies network computer intrusion evidence and perpetrators, and apply technical solutions to help categorize that evidence

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:**

Required Qualifications:

+ Demonstrated experience and strong understanding of cybersecurity, and the ability to identify and assess a variety of Indicators of Compromise (IOC)

+ Demonstrated experience and understanding of networks and potential vulnerabilities associated with various networking architectures

+ Demonstrated experience and understanding of AI/ML processes and be able to evaluate the efficiency of models

+ Demonstrated experience scripting in Powershell, Python, or SQL to be able to manipulate and parse through structured and unstructured datasets

+ Demonstrated experience in visualization tools such as Tableau, MatplotLib(Python), or PowerBI

Desired Qualifications:

+ Demonstrated experience with the ability to convey technical assessments or conclusions in a digestible manner

+ Demonstrated experience and understanding of the tactics, techniques, and procedures for threat actors

+ Bachelor of Science or better in Computer Science with a minimum of 8+ years as a Technical Targeter

+ TS/SCI with SCI Poly clearance

The likely salary range for this position is $139,984 - $169,050. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
