**Responsibilities**

The Physician Assistant is responsible for providing inpatient rounding, as well as contributing to the delivery of quality patient care by working with other surgical team members during the preoperative and immediate postoperative phases.

**Essential Job Responsibilities**

+ Provides quality patient care.

+ Provides skilled assistance to the surgeon.

+ Assists with individual operating room set up

+ Assists with positioning, prepping and draping the patient.

+ Communicates with the surgeon and health care team regarding patient’s condition

+ Other duties as assigned by management.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ Graduate of a Physician Assistant training Program

+ TN State PA License required

+ BLS certification required

+ Effective verbal and written communication skills, use of general patient care equipment, ability to adapt to changes in healthcare technology, demonstrates skilled assistance to the surgeon, credentialing through the medical staff.

**Pay Range**

$52.12 - $62.29 /hour
