FOSOV Deployed Field Service Supervisor

The selected applicant will represent Naval Aviation Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Webster Out Lying Field, Special Communications Mission Solutions (NAWCAD WOLF SCMS) as a subject matter expert on the Family of Special Operations Vehicles (FOSOV) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR). They will oversee and manage operational aspects of existing tasking that includes but is not limited to; assigning daily work schedules of personnel, reviews status of budgets, schedules and prepare status reports, assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and program goals and objectives. Under minimal supervision, the candidate will provide technical and administrative support on FOSOV Deployed Mission Support (DMS) - Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) sustainment tasking efforts. Must demonstrate a general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards. Contacts will be internal and external to BAE Systems and NAWCAD WOLF SCMS. Will be able to travel independently to OCONUS locations to provide technical support as a subject matter expert (SME) on FOSOV vehicles and equipment. Expected to be fluent with and utilize the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), FOSOV Maintenance Action Reporting System (MARS) government database to review Trouble Reports (TRs) for completeness and accuracy. Will utilize the Material Inventory Control System (MICS) government database for the movement of sustainment replacement, repair parts, and material and will act as a conduit between Field Service Technicians (FSTs) and Engineering in addressing configuration items/issues, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and Unit Organic Operational Equipment requirements.

**This position requires deployment (one year minimum with a 2-week midterm return to CONUS break) to locations designated as Hazardous Duty by the U.S. Department of State.** The successful candidate must be willing to travel to Hazardous Duty areas and meet/maintain training and Fit for Duty requirements (specific health and physical requirements) as specified by the contract(s) and applicable U.S. Government directives (i.e. CENTCOM Mod 17).

This position is located in Kuwait and managed in Chesapeake, VA. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants will reside on base camp and be provided transportation between CONUS and Kuwait.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**

Bachelor s degree in business, project management, engineering, systems management, or related discipline and at least 3 years of related experience OR Associate degree and at least 7 years of related work experience

At least 1 year of supervisory experience

Military electronics training/experience

Tactical radio (SATCOM, LOS, and HF) operations/maintenance experience

COMSEC equipment operations/maintenance experience

Component level repair and soldering experience (2M)

Ability to lift 30 pounds and work with safety harnesses

**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**

Special Operation Forces (SOF) experience

ANW2, HPW and ASCM Waveform experience

FOSOV C5I training/experience

Electronics Counter-Measure Systems experience

Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS)

FOSOV Maintenance Action Reporting System (MARS) experience

Material Inventory Control System (MICS) experience

Military Leadership Training

Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) submission experience

Valid US tourist passport

A certification

Military Electronics Course Instructor (NEC 9502)

**Pay Information**

Full-Time Salary Range: $68700 - $116800

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
