Systems Architect
**ManTech** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Systems Architect** **II** to join our team in **Crane, Indiana.** This is an onsite position.
As a core member, you will assist in the research & design, engineering, integration, testing, training, logistics, laboratory research, field engineering, and acquisition and operations analysis in support of a variety of Navy and Marine Corps programs and projects with a focus on defensive cyber technologies, mission assurance, and resilience capabilities for the tactical network environment. Your effort will go towards dramatically increasing the warfighter’s effectiveness. **Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
+ Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure software application architectures
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
+ Conduct architectural reviews and provide guidance on best practices and coding standards
+ Ensure software solutions are aligned with business and technical requirements
+ Provide technical expertise and direction for project
+ Develop architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines
+ Develops strategy of system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy
+ Serve in a variety of technical roles throughout the development lifecycle or operational support with specialty in the area of developing and maintaining enterprise architecture
**Minimum Qualifications** :
+ BA/BS degree or High School Diploma and 6 years of additional relevant experience or Associate's Degree and 4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
+ 5+ years of Project Management
+ Experience with Agile processes, iterative design, and continuous improvement
+ Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
+ Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Masters Degree
+ Demonstrated experience in architecting large scale distributed platform
+ Familiarity with Big Data Platforms (BDPs)
+ Experience working with government programs
**Clearance Requirements:**
+ Must have a current and active Secret clearance
**Physical Requirements:**
+ The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
+ Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
