Foundation Manager, Stewardship

**JOB SUMMARY**

At Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation, a robust stewardship program built on thoughtful strategies that demonstrate gratitude, highlight philanthropic impact and enhance donor engagement, is vital to retaining and engaging our generous supporters. In this role, the Stewardship Manager is responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive and effective stewardship strategy, which includes producing personalized donor and/or annual service line impact reports, supporting the development team and executives with high-level donor engagement activities and leading donor recognition projects. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, this position requires the ability to work independently, participate in significant teamwork and includes frequent contact with Foundation leadership, physicians and employees at all levels of the organization.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE**

+ Create and drive the strategy for a comprehensive annual stewardship plan.

+ Produce personalized donor impact and stewardship reports and lead strategy and content development for key service line impact reports.

+ Lead multi-level donor acknowledgment process, including high-level donor engagement activities.

+ Work in collaboration with the development and annual giving teams to develop short and long-range plans for the stewardship of major gift and annual donors.

+ Identify opportunities and strategies to engage emerging donor groups and coordinate with appropriate teams to implement.

+ Plan and manage the administration of 1903 giving society benefits to ensure that all donors receive the highest quality stewardship experience.

+ Support or facilitate stewardship/engagement events and activities as assigned.

+ Lead strategy for annual stewardship touchpoints (birthday cards; Thanksgiving outreach, etc.)

+ Contribute to departmental planning and evaluation of program efforts. Ensure all activities happen within allotted budgets and be mindful of cost/benefit analyses when developing strategy.

+ Provide detailed, timely and accurate data entry of relevant information and action tracks in Raiser’s Edge.

**KEY SUCCESS FACTORS**

+ A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Non-profit Studies or other related disciplines from an accredited college or university.

+ Must be a proficient project manager and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Demonstrated experience in strategic planning.

+ Proven ability to implement new initiatives, measure and discern progress and adjust to maximize results.

+ Must be comfortable working within a demanding and complex corporate environment with access to highly confidential and proprietary information.

+ Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership of wide-ranging responsibilities.

+ Proactively builds and grows relationships, collaborates with team members and gains alignment.

+ Curious learner, adaptable to evolving business needs and a changing environment.

+ Strong interpersonal skills, maturity and good judgment and capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals.

+ Data analysis, interpretation and visualization skills.

+ Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and apply strong attention to detail.

+ Experience working with donor database Raiser’s Edge a plus.

+ Experience working in Microsoft Office 365 Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel PowerPoint and SharePoint; experience working with Adobe Creative Suite.

- EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
