**Healthcare Application Support Engineer**

**Responsibilities**

+ Experience in **ETL methodologies** , including data analysis, profiling, and validation.

+ Support all data conversion activities and tasks (e.g., **data mapping** ) to ensure proper data import before going live.

+ Understand the **healthcare business domain** and its associated data, including how data elements and modules integrate across systems.

+ Participate in workshops with vendors and IT teams to gather and analyze business requirements.

+ Excellent working knowledge of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server

+ Experience in Microsoft SSIS, SSRS – Solid understanding SSRS, basic of SSIS

+ Analyze data in various formats, such as databases, **X12 files** , flat files, Excel, and others.

+ Conduct **business data analysis** to estimate and benchmark the time required for data transformation and loading.

+ Manage artifacts, including generating **data mapping documentation** .

+ Clearly document and describe issues related to data quality in alignment with business requirements and processes.

+ Assist the team with writing, editing, and updating technical documentation to streamline and document the **conversion/migration processes** .

+ Develop, test, execute, and document repeatable processes for migrating data into new systems.

+ Create and maintain version control for critical project documents, such as **data mapping documentation** .

+ **Timeline Management** : Ensure adherence to project timeframes as established by the project manager and client.

+ Provide **post-go-live support** for a designated period, addressing any issues that arise.

+ Work closely with development and operations teams to establish best practices for CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth deployment of ETL processes.

+ Automate the deployment of ETL scripts and other data transformation processes using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.

+ Optimize the deployment and execution of ETL jobs in cloud environments such as Azure & AWS.

**Education and Typical Years of Experience**

**Required:**

+ A minimum of **4+ years of experience** in **Healthcare Systems** .

+ Basic understanding of scripting languages and **ETL tools/methodologies** for mapping data across various formats.

+ Strong **problem-solving skills** with the ability to address complex issues effectively.

+ Excellent working knowledge of **relational databases** and basic proficiency in **Microsoft SSIS** and **SSRS** .

+ Experience working with and configuring **data-driven applications** .

+ **Self-starter** with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-focused environment.

+ High energy and strong multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize conflicting demands.

+ **Excellent communication skills** (both verbal and written) for effective collaboration with stakeholders and teams.

+ Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including version control, automation frameworks, and monitoring systems.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and flexible paid time off and sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $96,250-$120,000.
