The **Program Manager, Sustainability Regulatory Reporting** supports the execution of Microsoft’s environmental sustainability reporting strategy. They bring experience and knowledge in the voluntary and mandatory sustainability reporting space. They bring a depth of subject matter expertise around sustainability measurement frameworks, and standards. They support with reporting readiness, data collection activities and data reporting tooling.

**Responsibilities**
+ Supports the company's reporting primarily for mandatory reporting like Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), California bills, ensuring compliance with associated standards such as the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and others.
+ Manages internal data collection and platform in support of regulatory reporting requirements.
+ Closely collaborates with the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Controllership team to ensure alignment to regulatory reporting requirements.
+ Has a deep understanding of Microsoft corporate standard methodologies, and engages with engineering to facilitate updates into the Sustainability data tooling for the purpose of data updates and recalculations.
+ Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability reporting processes and procedures.
+ Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in sustainability reporting standards and regulations.
+ Drives high-impact projects through stakeholder engagement across the enterprise to meet the changing business environment and ensure the team is achieving reporting requirements.
+ Has successful project management skills, including work with strategy consultants and other external agencies, on strategic efforts that require hands-on experience across multiple functional disciplines and business organizations.
+ Attention to detail and the ability to drive high quality assurance in a complex dataset.
+ Represents and supports the execution of One Microsoft Sustainability Measurement, which is a cross-company effort to enable a consistent measurement approach to environmental sustainability metrics. Communicates how to align new methodologies inconsistent with corporate standards, equips the organization for high scrutiny by minimizing future risks of criticism, legal action, and loss of business value, and streamlines processes to enable operational and business groups to drive quickly to resolution.

+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 4+ years of enterprise experience designing, deploying a holistic solution; sustainability data management and accounting experience, including Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol, International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi), and Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) standard reporting.

Data Science IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
