**CTG is seeking to fill an Application Architect – Cloud Data Modernization position for our client in Denver, CO.**

**Location:** Denver, CO

**Duration:** 6 months

**Duties:**

+ Define and communicate the architectural vision for data platforms and AI/ML solutions, ensuring alignment with business strategy and governance.

+ Design scalable, high-performance data platforms, including data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time data processing solutions.

+ Provide architectural guidance for AI/ML model development, deployment, and MLOps strategies.

+ Lead the design and implementation of robust data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to support data modernization initiatives.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to drive cloud-based data transformation.

+ Ensure best practices in agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

+ Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for improving data architecture and AI/ML capabilities.

**Skills:**

+ Expertise in cloud computing platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud (GCP).

+ Strong knowledge of big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, and Snowflake.

+ Experience with AI/ML platforms, including TensorFlow, MLflow, and Kubeflow.

+ Deep understanding of architectural patterns, including Lambda, Kappa, and event-driven architectures.

+ Proficiency in modern software development methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.

+ Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively interact with technical and business teams.

**Experience:**

+ 7+ years of experience in software and data architecture, with a focus on data-intensive and AI/ML applications.

+ Proven track record of designing and implementing cloud-based data modernization solutions.

**Education:**

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
