About the Role: The Director, Healthcare Association Engagement and Innovation will be responsible for leading both strategy and engagement with key healthcare association stakeholders towards Novartis objectives that improve patient care by enhancing innovation among key healthcare association stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: •External Strategic Stakeholder Engagement – Build trusting relationships with key senior stakeholders at medical societies, healthcare associations, and other external organizations. Maintain pulse on the healthcare industry and trends among key external groups Identify opportunities to collaborate on common objectives to improve patient outcomes. Act as the primary point of contact for defined organizations and coordinator of all interactions. •Strategy Development/Execution – Partner with Medical Unit Heads and other senior internal leaders to develop and execute engagement plan for medical societies and other target healthcare associations. Drive collaboration and manage relationships among numerous cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed organization. •Partnership/Program Development – Collaboratively develop programs and initiatives consistent with defined strategy. Define program budgets in partnership appropriate internal stakeholders. •Drive Innovation/Process Improvement – Contribute to overall functioning of External Relationships COE through contributing external stakeholder considerations to process improvement initiatives. Leverage digital capabilities to drive impact and efficiencies. Collaborate to establish and track impact metrics. \n\n\n\n **Position Title:** Director, Healthcare Association Engagement and Innovation **Role Requirements:** What You’ll Bring to the Role: Essential Requirements: •Bachelors or equivalent 4-Year University Degree required. •Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, etc.) preferred. •Association engagement or account management experience strongly preferred. •Minimum 7 years in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry required. •Prior experience working in Healthcare/Medical Society is desirable. •Strong healthcare industry knowledge required. •Knowledge of healthcare industry and company guidelines and policies required. •Strong knowledge of the drug development process required. •Prior experience in healthcare setting (patient care, payer, insurance, etc.) preferred. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $201,600.00 and $302,400.00 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
