**Job Description**
We want your talent to provide Engineering Assistance to Production & Service for our Military flight control system products. This effort starts on the product after the initial conceptual design, development and qualification of a given product has completed. You will perform engineering technical guidance for product related technical issues that are electrical or system related. This role provides engineering oversight to assure that updates to the product meet the original product specifications and defined system-level requirements.
The engineering activities include, but are not limited to the following:
+ Support Manufacturing troubleshoot of yield concerns or other test fallout
+ Support test requirement and test hardware updates
+ Addressing technical concerns from the customer
+ Minor redesign and other mitigation efforts caused by obsolete parts and/or customer requested updates
+ Field performance monitoring
+ Support process and documentation updates.
+ Prepare and/or review documentation for system design updates in accordance with established systems development processes and procedures.
+ Produce and/or review technical documents, specifications and standards.
+ Support various specialty-engineering tasks; such as Reliability, Maintainability & Availability analysis, Integrated Logistics Support, Failure Analysis and Safety Engineering tasks.
+ Provide on-site production support and sustainment activities at customer locations.
+ Perform/assist in root cause/corrective action investigations
+ Verify and validate aspects of systems designs to ensure conformance with functional specifications and customer requirements.
Candidates should possess strong communication skills both written and oral. Candidates should also demonstrate sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel, customers and suppliers.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor s Degree (may substitute equivalent experience, training and/or certifications for the degree)
+ 2 years experience in avionics or electronic control related development including familiarity with avionic interfaces and data buses or experience with high reliability/safety critical applications (medical, nuclear etc.)
+ A strong desire to solve technical and/or process problems
+ Technical writing skills: capable of creating required engineering documentation.
+ Experience in integration and verification testing of electronic equipment including hardware/software.
+ Ability to read schematics
+ Team player and resourceful in achieving goals
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Test and troubleshooting of high criticality or high reliability parts products
+ Proficient in circuit active and passive devices
+ Power Supply/Systems Design
+ Analog Circuit Design
+ Digital Circuit Design
+ FPGA development
+ VHDL Programing language experience
+ PSPICE or equivalent analog circuit simulation tool experience
+ Board Design
+ Exposure to manufacturing processes for high reliability, safety critical products
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $68700 - $116800
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
