**Job Description:**

Seize your opportunity to make an impact as an **Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Project Manager** on the Centers for Medicaid & Medicare Services (CMS) Healthcare Integrated General Ledger Accounting System (HIGLAS). This is a remote position within the DMV area.

The HIGLAS Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Project Manager provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned project or task(s) in an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) migration project. The Cloud Project Manager reviews the status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reports. The Cloud Project Manager manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area.

How the Cloud Project Manager will make and impact:

+ Primary point of contact for GDIT for the complex on-premises to OCI Cloud Migration with the CMS Financial Management Systems Group (FMSG) leadership, clients and stakeholders

+ Lead a team of cloud experts in performing a Cloud Migration of applications from on-premises to OCI.

+ Work collaboratively with existing program leads/members and with product vendor (Oracle).

+ Define project plan and manage project plan.

+ Report status of the project on a weekly basis, including risks and issues.

+ Manage cost, schedule and timelines.

+ Guides the successful completion of major engineering programs.

+ Perform high level technical services on assigned tasks as required.

+ Manages risks and issues, track them and get to a closure.

+ Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.

+ Coordinates development of deliverables and work products.

+ Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.

Key Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline. Relevant years of work experience may be substituted for degree.

+ 5+ years of leadership experience, managing teams

+ 5+ years leading IT/Technology programs, preferably Cloud programs

+ 2+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) program delivery role.

+ Good knowledge and experience of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

+ Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience working with stakeholders and development teams.

+ Strong communication skills, both written and oral to convey cloud technologies and solutions to internal team and customer personnel.

+ Ability to work within a collaborative team and a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Desired:

+ Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certification(s).

+ Experience with third-party tools such as Terraform, Ansible and automation experience.

+ PMP Certification

Location:

+ Remote within the **DMV area** , able to work onsite at GDIT’s office in Windsor Mill, MD, as requested for critical Cloud assessment, design, solutioning and implementation meetings and internal team and customer meetings.

Clearance:

+ Ability to pass a CMS background check and meet the residency requirement for having resided in the US at least (3) three out of the last (5) five years in order to obtain a Public Trust.

The likely salary range for this position is $119,000 - $161,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
