**Job Description:**

GDIT plays a leading role in modernizing data warehouse infrastructure for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. We provide architecture, implementation and operations support for large scale data migration and integration of on premise and cloud IT systems.

GDIT is seeking a **Quality Assurance Manager** . The IT QA Manager will lead a team of test resources and work collaboratively with developers and business analysts to define and implement automated and manual testing processes to ensure data quality and business process requirements are met.

**In this role, a typical day will include:**

+ Manages a team of 10 to 15 testing resources.

+ Monitor progress of assigned deliverables and communicate status to all appropriate stakeholders.

+ Participate in collaborative reviews of test case and test evidence artifacts.

+ Participate in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) ceremonies.

+ Collaborate with developers, analysts, and management to identify risks and mitigation activities.

+ Recommend and implement corrective actions as needed to address unplanned technical, functional and resource issues.

+ Responsible for providing technical and functional oversight to the team members and serving as an advocate for team members.

+ Escalate to Resource Management and Scrum Masters the appropriate team issues and accomplishments.

+ Responsible for the resolution of issues that impede the testing effort.

+ Define, communicate, and promote best practices.

+ Mentor and guide less experienced testing personnel for testing activities being performed.

+ Participate in initial meetings and discussions for any new work, including special projects to identify test team impacts as well as assisting with high level ROMs and details estimates in terms of testing effort.

+ Responsible for creating schedules/timelines/roadmaps for the given tasks/projects.

+ Attend and/or facilitate meetings and forums with all the stakeholders on both technical and integrated project topics.

+ Participate in special projects as required.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:**

+ BA/BS in Computer Science or related discipline.

+ 5+ years related IT quality assurance experience, including prior experience leading/managing a team.

+ Familiarity with Medicare data and business processes.

+ Prior experience with testing large database systems, Extract/Transform/Load processes, and business intelligence reports.

+ Experience with automated testing and developing test scripts.

+ Highly proficient with Structured Query Language (SQL) on one or more database platforms.

+ Working knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or related Agile methodology.

The likely salary range for this position is $122,366 - $141,450. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
