Application Developer Java & Web Technologies

**CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer – Java & Web Technologies position for our client in Whippany, NJ.**

**Location:** Whippany, NJ

**Duration:** 9 months

**Duties:**

+ Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Core Java, Spring, Angular, and related web technologies.

+ Develop and optimize large-scale data processing applications using Hadoop and Spark.

+ Write efficient SQL queries and work with relational databases for data management and retrieval.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver scalable, high-performance applications.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the application stack.

+ Ensure code quality, security, and best practices in software development.

**Skills:**

+ Strong proficiency in Core Java and object-oriented programming.

+ Hands-on experience with Hadoop and Spark for big data processing.

+ Proficiency in SQL for database management and optimization.

+ Expertise in Spring Framework for backend development.

+ Experience with Angular for frontend development.

+ Knowledge of web services (REST, SOAP) and microservices architecture.

+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

**Experience:**

+ Minimum 5+ years of experience in Java-based application development.

+ Proven experience in full-stack development, including both backend and frontend technologies.

+ Prior experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.

+ Experience in developing scalable and secure enterprise applications.

**Education:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
