The Sales Director is a complex deal shaper who aligns to client imperatives and solves business problems. Sales Directors manage sales activities with the objective of creating mutually beneficial, trust-based relationships that create value by targeting the right clients, grow quality pipeline and win deals. A person in this role is expected to originate and sell comprehensive deals with various operational components with a value range of $5M to $50M+.
As a Sales professional aligned to our Public Service practice, you have C-Level relationships across all aspects of the State agency, parish and city leadership. You will be accountable for driving incremental sales, originating, and closing business.
Responsibilities include:
+ Provide solutions to complex business problems/opportunities requiring in-depth knowledge of client buyer needs.
+ Expand our work in new areas of the client’s business through new offerings and services.
+ Drive sales process and outcomes to clients on a dedicated basis, growing a profitable pipeline and/or backlog of sales, through deal origination, sales negotiations, and closure.
+ Lead the entire origination process for a large deal working with the Client Account Lead and client team, bringing the right talent to the sales opportunities at the right time.
+ Bringing a focus on the entire sales life cycle of an opportunity from origination to closure.
+ Be the lead in ensuring the Accenture Sales Methodologies are implemented and followed to maximize win probabilities across a portfolio of assigned accounts.
+ Successfully lead and align a complex network of stakeholders.
+ Determine pursuit strategies, develop client messaging plans and relationships, and apply industry-leading transformation strategies and practices.
+ Travel as required, up to 80%
+ Must live in Baton Rouge or New Orleans or the surrounding area that is within driving distance with the ability to work in Baton Rouge and/or New Orleans regularly.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Minimum of 8 years of experience originating and capturing complex multi-tower service deals, preferably in value greater than $10M.
+ Minimum of 8 years of experience shaping, negotiating, and closing large complex multi tower deals within Public Services/ Higher Education clients.

+ Bachelor's degree
+ Ability to look across the broad range of Accenture services from technology transformation, consulting, digital and operations to create value for our clients.
+ Proven ability to operate within a team-oriented, matrixed environment.
+ Proven sales deal leadership originating and closing multi-discipline (consulting plus outsourcing plus technology) services opportunities.
+ High energy level, focus and ability to work well in demanding client environments.
+ Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
+ Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making abilities.
+ Conversant in emerging trends in IT and Business.
+ Unquestionable professional integrity, credibility, and character.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
