SW/App/Cloud Technology Support Manager (Accenture LLP; Houston, TX): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of SW/App/Cloud Technology Support Manager in Houston, TX, and the job duties are as follows:

+ Act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application to accurately define the issue, and to interpret and design a resolution.

+ Drive incident, issue and outage management, investigation, and restoration.

+ Monitor systems and trends to prevent occurrence of incidents, problems, errors, and improve overall performance.

+ Schedule, track, and facilitate acceptance of changes to the production environments by using the applicable processes.

+ Operate IT production services according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

+ Provide operational support, ensuring production systems and devices are online and available.

+ Identify and assess complex problems, and create solutions that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors to be implemented by the team.

+ Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.

+ Make decisions that impact the team through regular consultation with senior management.

+ Adhere to strategic direction set by senior management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT industry. Must have 4 years of experience in each of the following:

+ Implementing and managing Cloud infrastructure, including Public, Private, Hybrid, Converged and Hyper-converged cloud platforms;

+ Working in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models to advocate to client with modern and secure solutions;

+ Building technical applications, including integrating multi-platform client systems and technical architecture blueprints; and

+ Managing Windows and Linux Server Virtualization in hybrid cloud model by utilizing VMware, VxRail, VxBlock, PowerFlex, Nutanix and Public Cloud platforms.

Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:

+ Infrastructure Architecture on Azure Cloud, Networking, Security, Automation, and migrating servers from On-prem data center to Microsoft Azure and AWS Cloud;

+ Deploying and managing cloud resources and services in AWS and Azure Cloud;

+ Utilizing Agile, IaC and DevOps for Automation and Optimization process;

+ Utilizing ITIL process, Identity and Access management, disaster and cyber recovery, data protection and encryption technology; and

+ Supporting mining, oil, and gas industry clients.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 50% of the time to meet client needs.
