Classified Area System/Network Administrator

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Set up and maintain Windows servers, desktops, and network devices; bonus points for Linux experience.

+ Install and configure Active Directory environments.

+ Embrace new technologies to meet evolving requirements.

+ Contribute to system design, hardware/software implementation, and overall infrastructure support.

+ Document system configurations and baselines.

+ Provide backup and recovery services while managing file systems and disk space.

+ Utilize desktop and server virtualization within VMWare vSphere and ESXI.

+ Handle ticket load and prioritization of daily on-site support and troubleshooting.

+ Work on multiple projects, either as a team member or occasionally leading a project.

+ Manage user accounts and access control in a domain or stand-alone environment.

+ Ensure the proper marking, handling, and storage of classified materials.

+ Perform troubleshooting to diagnose network issues utilizing network tools.

+ Serves as a primary project member on technology projects with large scope and impact; may lead and integrate the work of other staff.

+ Install, configure, and maintain network components to include switches, routers, wireless, VPN, firewall devices and TACLANES.

+ Coordinate and schedule installation of new network equipment or relocation of equipment.

+ Participates in and/or leads the review, evaluation and recommendation of solutions relating to hardware and software acquisitions and/or network updates.

+ Participates in and/or leads research and development initiatives and provides assistance in the implementation of new technologies.

+ Performs switch firmware updates.

+ Manage firmware updates and security compliance.

**Experience and Skills:**

+ 5-10 years of System/Network Administrator experience.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Ability to interface effectively with security agencies, customers, and management.

+ Manage multiple networks in a dynamic, demanding environment.

+ Advanced knowledge of network operating systems.

+ Familiarity with Risk Management Framework requirements for Windows and Linux systems.

+ Experience with advanced networking concepts such as switch stacks, VLTs, VLANs, spanning tree, port-channels, QoS/CoS, L2 switching and L3 routing protocols (EIGRP/OSPF/BGP), VSS, multi-tier LAN design models, 802.1x, and 802.11.

+ Experience with physical network infrastructure, with an emphasis on copper and fiber optic Ethernet networks, including installation, termination, and troubleshooting.

**Credentials:**

+ Secret clearance.

+ Ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Previous experience in a classified Collateral environment.

+ System Administrator experience in a similarly sized organization.

+ DoD Directive 8570 / 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification. (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP)

+ Network certifications.

+ BS Degree.

**Pay Range:**

Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
