Community and Engagement Specialists (FT) 8a-5p--Johnson City, TN

SCOPE OF POSITION 
The Community Engagement Specialists report directly to the Director of Community Engagement and are responsible for the following:

•    Regional market specific oversight and implementation of the population health plan as a community coach and liaison
•    Partnership development with all collaborating partners internally and externally
•    Opportunity identification and development of pipelines to reach key populations of individuals in assigned regions
•    Alignment of efforts with the Accountable Care Community councils that are established regionally to support community level collective impact
•    Relationship development and management of relationships with community partners regionally including all sectors
•    Effective coordination of efforts with all members of the department of population health and key internal and external stakeholders
•    Act as an extension of the business development efforts of business health to grow relationships with businesses
•    Effective coordination of efforts with all physician liaison members toward alignment of clinical and community strategies
•    Act as an extension of the government relations efforts of the organization to open doors and expand influence in assigned markets with government and civic groups

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
​Community Engagement Specialists will possess a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business development, community/public relations, public health or relevant field. 2-3 years of experience in community relations, business development, marketing, health marketing/promotion with proven success is required. Effective communication skills, strong business plan/community plan development skills, network development is highly preferred.
