**WHAT WILL YOU DO?**
+ **Oversee Day-to-Day Operations:** Collaborate with Banquet Managers on staffing ratios, room layouts, menu implementation, and overall event operations.
+ **Collaborative Planning:** Work closely with the Executive Meetings Manager and Catering Manager to understand and execute planned events.
+ **Detailed Event Coordination:** Review Banquet Event Orders and create event diagrams as needed. Prepare back-of-house strike sheets for events requiring equipment and establish server assignments for each event.
+ **Effective Communication:** Coordinate with support departments to finalize details related to food, beverage, equipment, power, and room setup for all responsible events.
+ **Supervision and Compliance:** Supervise banquet service staff, ensuring strict adherence to departmental, property, and corporate policies and procedures.
+ **Human Resources Management:** Manage Human Resources responsibilities for assigned areas, including quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes aligned with the company's diversity commitment.
+ **Positive Work Environment:** Foster a work environment that promotes client service, teamwork, performance feedback, individual recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction.
**WHAT WILL YOU NEED?**
+ A High School diploma or equivalent experience.
+ Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
+ One (1) year of experience as a banquet supervisor/captain in an operation of similar size and scope or manager/director experience.
**CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:**
+ Health Card/Food Handler's Card
+ Serve Safe Certification (obtained after employment)
+ Alcohol Awareness Card
+ Non Gaming Sheriffs Card
