**PRIMARY PURPOSE:**

As a Master Pastry Cook at L'Atelier, you will be responsible for food preparation, baking method and techniques. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create **WOW** memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

+ Follow method of food preparation, baking method and techniques, properly prepare and serve dessert as instructed by the Chef

+ Ensure food is stored and kept at proper holding temperature

+ List preparations that need to be completed daily and always be present during hours of service

+ Monitor consistency of quality, presentation and flavor of each dish

+ Assemble recipes without any assistance

+ Communicate and assist management and service staff in order to fulfill and address any challenges or needs requested by guests and employees

+ Monitor and maintain cleanliness of work area, utensils and equipment

+ Delegate tasks to other pastry job classifications as instructed by chef

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Two (2) years of experience in a high-quality pastry department

+ Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
