KPMG is currently seeking a Specialist, Power BI Developer to join our Deal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:

+ Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboard and report that meet business requirements

+ Connect to various data resources, import data, and transform data for Business Intelligence

+ Implement row level security on data and understand application security layer models for Power BI and leverage Microsoft Fabric to support Power BI dashboard and deployment

+ Develop DAX queries and calculations in Power BI reports

+ Work closely with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and provide data driven solutions

+ Optimize and improve existing BI systems and reports for performance and scalability

+ Document all reports, dashboards and data models in detail

+ Train and support business users in self-service BIQualifications:

+ Minimum two years recent experience in Power BI Development or Data Analytics

+ Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university, preference in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related fields

+ Strong understanding of Power BI application security layer models

+ Proficient in DAX, SQL, and data model techniques; knowledge of Microsoft Fabric

+ Experience connected Power BI to various data resources such as SQLServer, Azure, Excel, etc

+ Ability to interpret business requirement and translate them into technical requirements

+ Familiarity with other BI tool and data visualization best practices

+ Willingness and ability to travel
