BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a **Mental Health Technician II** to join our outstanding and compassionate team in **Lutz, FL!**

+ **Facility:** Northbay Recovery Center

+ **Location:** Lutz, FL

+ **Status:** Full time, Exempt: No

+ **Shift Hours:** 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

+ **Weekend Work:** Every Other

+ **On Call:** No

**The Mental Health Technician II is responsible for:**

+ Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.

+ Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.

+ Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN.

+ Promotes coordination of the unit by completing orders, making phone calls and directing calls and information to the charge nurse.

**Required Certification/Licensures:**

+ BLS (Basic Life Support)

+ CNA (Nursing Assistant) - preferred

+ Patient Care Technician - preferred

**Required Education:**

+ High School or Equivalent

+ Associate's degree in related field - Preferred

**Experience:**

+ 6 months – Psychology
