JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Pennsylvania State University is seeking an Enrollment Services Specialist to provide, coordinate, and manage new student recruitment for graduate and certificate programs at the Penn State Great Valley School of Graduate Professional Studies.

This position offers the possibility of a flexible work arrangement that combines remote and on-campus work. Travel to campus will be required. Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process.

As part of the Office of Enrollment Management and Student Services, the program representative is responsible for recruiting qualified graduate students, both domestic and international, who are seeking professional master’s degrees in business, engineering, and technology. Through our Salesforce CRM, the program representative assists the director of Enrollment Management and Student Services in developing communication plans to encourage prospective students to complete and submit applications. The program representative meets with prospective students via email, virtual and in-person appointments, webinars, and information sessions.

The program representative will identify, engage, and coordinate with employers and professional associations to raise the level of awareness of our School and to recruit new students and assess market need for graduate and certificate programs. This position contributes significantly to the achievement of enrollment goals of the campus.

The position typically requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree plus three years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in recruiting, admissions, sales/promotions, marketing, or a related activity is preferred.

A successful candidate will be goal-oriented, possess the ability to plan, organize, efficiently manage time, balance multiple responsibilities, adapt to change, and carry out responsibilities with successful results. Key competencies for success include exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, unwavering commitment to honor and integrity, sensitivity to others’ needs, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Candidates should possess a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to learn new computer applications. Experience using a higher education CRM system such as Salesforce, Slate, etc. is preferred.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is:

$51,000.00 - $74,000.00
