Power BI Reporting Automation Lead Analyst- Accounting Transformation

**About this role:**

Wells Fargo is seeking a (PowerBI) Lead Financial Reporting Analyst within the Accounting Transformation Team. This position will support significant portions of the Axiom implementation and reporting modernization project through developing data analysis and Business Intelligence solutions for end users, leveraging Power BI and Dremio. The Axiom implementation will result in the accurate automated production of significant US Regulatory Reports such as the FR Y-9C, FFIEC 009 and FFIEC 031/041 among others, and provide analytical tools to support the business process.

**In this role, you will:**

+ Design strategic architecture and suite of Business Intelligence solutions to support Regulatory Reporting data analytics, including:

+ Partnering with end users to understand requirements and optimize user experience

+ Developing solutions using Dremio and Power BI

+ Performing testing, documentation and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures

+ Coordinating with Technology counterparts to deliver solutions into production

+ Conduct data analysis in support of regulatory analytical reporting requirements

+ Lead initiatives and mentor less experienced staff members

+ Consult with and provide recommendations to senior management regarding assessments of the current state of data approaches to satisfy analytical reporting requirements

+ Partner with groups and various levels of seniority companywide to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution

**Required Qualifications:**

+ 5+ years of Finance, Accounting, Financial Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

+ Expert in PowerBI capabilities

**Desired Qualifications:**

+ Degree in Computer Science, Information systems or equivalent experience

+ 4+ years of experience working in technology with focus on ETL and data analysis

+ Avanced knowledge of Dremio

+ Expert in SQL or Python

+ Thorough understanding of the design, development, and implementation of software solution

+ Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

+ Product knowledge in some or all the following areas (loans & leases, deposits, derivatives, securities, equity, capital etc.)

+ Knowledge and understanding of regulatory and financial reporting: Federal Reserve, OCC, SEC, etc.

+ Knowledge and understanding of corporate governance, financial reporting systems and controls, legal entities, and role of regulatory authorities

+ Working knowledge of importing data for use in report software or analytical tool

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills

+ Ability to communicate effectively with various audiences companywide, simplifying complex ideas by finding the core message, using clear language, and providing relevant examples
